YÖS EXAMINATION

The Examination for Foreign Students for Higher Education Programmes in Turkey (referred to as YÖS) is scheduled to take place at 08:30 hrs on May 9, 2010 in Islamabad. The venue of the examination will be announced in due course.

YÖS 2010 Guides and Application Forms can be reached via the internet address “http://www.osym.gov.tr.” between 15-26 February 2010. Applicants should apply through the same internet address. The application and examination fee is $50.

The said examination is prepared and administered by the Student Selection and Placement Centre (ÖSYM) of the Republic of Turkey.

All applicants must have a Foreign Resident (FR) Number (Y.U. Numarası) and a password assigned to them before application can be accepted. This can be done via the internet site of ÖSYM. The FR Number and password can be obtained only once.

DEADLINE: Applicants should reach the necessary documents (the YÖS 2010 Guide and the Application form) from the ÖSYM’s website within the application period. The guide will only be available on the internet. Applications must be submitted via the internet until February 26, 2010.
